A FRESH TESLA

GROK

Here is the true Tesla “Streamliner One” — a faithful, no-compromise translation of Norman Timbs’ 1948 Buick Streamliner into pure Tesla DNA.

Every curve, proportion, and dramatic detail from the original is preserved, but executed with Tesla’s materials, lighting, and minimalism.
Name: Tesla Streamliner One (TS-1)
Four accurate mock-up views (generated from the real Timbs Buick shape):
  1. Front ¾ view
Perfect teardrop plan view, envelope body with no separate fenders.
Gloss “Midnight Cherry” paint (deep blood-red/black flip like the original Buick).
Full-width ultra-thin LED blade that traces the original chrome “smile” grille shape.
Tesla “T” glowing softly in the nose, no traditional grille at all.
Headlights are micro-projector dots hidden under the curved glass nose.
  2. Side profile
Identical 5.2 m long teardrop silhouette, but only 1,120 mm tall.
Wheels fully enclosed front and rear by the body (just like the 1948 Buick) — only the whitewall-style aero covers are visible.
  3. 22-inch center-lock forged wheels with smooth carbon discs and a thin illuminated ring instead of spokes.
  4. Single sweep-spear character line that lights up white when unlocked (Tesla’s version of the original chrome spear).
  5. No door handles — the entire lower body side lifts upward like a hypercar canopy (one piece per side).
  6. Rear ¾ view
Classic rounded boat-tail ending in a subtle center fin.
Full-width horizontal LED bar that forms the exact 1948 Buick tail-light shape, but paper-thin.
Rear wheels completely hidden under the body, giving that surreal “floating” look of the original.
Charging port hidden under the illuminated Tesla “T” in the tail fin.
  7. Interior / cockpit
Open-top tandem seating (driver slightly forward of passenger, exactly like the Timbs Buick).
Tobacco brown hand-stitched leather with cream piping.
Single curved 21" floating OLED horizon screen that wraps from door to door (no separate gauges).
Yoke is a perfect circle with walnut rim (retro nod).
Floor and transmission tunnel in polished aluminum with exposed rivets.
Minimalist toggle switches on the overhead console for lights, wipers, and drive mode — the only physical controls.
This is not a Model S with a body kit. It is the 1948 Buick Streamliner reborn as if Elon decided to build one ultimate halo car that looks like it came from a 1950s dream, but humiliates modern hypercars in a straight line and glides 450 miles on a charge.
